This policy explains how the Vigia app, published by Sedens Ago, handles your information. In short: we do not collect any personal data, and Vigia has no account, no ads and no trackers.

No collection by us

Vigia creates no account, uses no analytics or advertising, and sends no data to Sedens Ago. There is no server storing your information.

Location

Your position is used on the device to watch the anchorage (swing circle and alarm). With your “Always” permission, tracking continues in the background. These positions are not sent to us and do not leave your device, except for weather below.

Weather (third party)

To show wind at the mooring, the app sends the mooring coordinates to Open-Meteo to retrieve the forecast. No other data is sent. See Open-Meteo's privacy policy for their own processing.

Data stored on the device

Settings and the active watch are saved locally (in the app's storage). They stay on your device and are removed with the app.

AirDrop sharing

Handing a watch to another device happens over AirDrop, device to device, without any server.

Children

Vigia is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data about them.

This policy may change; the last-updated date is shown at the top.
